Albert Einstein.
Wow. I love this mural at Venice Beach, and I would love to have a conversation with Albert Einstein.
There are five qualities and principles I admire deeply about him.
Just imagine talking with the man who created the theory of relativity — though of course, we wouldn’t actually talk about that.
What I would talk to him about is what motivated him: curiosity.
That’s what kept him moving. He also valued imagination. In fact, he said imagination is even greater than knowledge.
Another principle of his that I love:
If you can’t explain what you do simply, you don’t understand it.
We use that all the time in communication coaching — whether someone is preparing for media interviews or giving a speech.
If you can’t explain it, as he said, to a six-year-old… you’ve got work to do.
And then there’s his lifelong sense of wonder — something he never lost.
So, Albert Einstein, you’ve given us so much. And what I probably love the most is this:
Einstein believed everyone has genius. So do we.
We call it your IQG — Innate Quality and Genius.
And we love working with clients who want to discover it and use it.
