A healthcare company promoted its CFO to CEO, but the leadership position presented several challenges for the executive. People skills, image, communication, and motivation skills were the main obstacles. We were asked to transform the CFO’s leadership style to that of a CEO.
2
We introduced the new CEO to the Transformational Leadership process. We designed a specific approach to focus on strengths and enhance the areas in need of improvement. We began with self-awareness exercises with an emphasis on body language and the ability to read other people’s non-verbal messages. Through videotaped exercises, we helped the executive develop a leadership style and a commanding presence. We taught the CEO how to communicate powerfully with the board of directors and staff, and to deliver winning presentations and media interviews.
3
We knew the challenge was accomplished when the chairman of the board proudly announced, “Our CFO is acting quite CEOish!”
The Jernudd+ processes are designed for exclusive one-on-one coaching, group presentations, and large group demonstrations. Curated specifically to your goals, objectives, and time frames to produce desired outcomes. Experiential and interactive specific ‘How to’ processes produce the objective results.”
Everything we do for your team leads to improved performance and profits.
Judy gives people personality.
For example, your CFO is promoted to CEO. The CEO’s role requires successful, powerful interaction with teams, boards, analysts, business leaders, the media, and the ability to project the brand image.

Our client faced a problem with a brilliant but unlikable senior-level executive who was in jeopardy of losing his job. Colleagues’ and staff complaints were frequent. When one of the firm’s largest clients complained, the firm took action. Replacement costs for the executive would run between $400,000-$500,000. The firm wanted to retain him, but could not tolerate the complaints, the poor morale he created, plus the time and money spent running interference internally and externally.
2
The client was introduced to the Jernudd+ The Likability Advantage, which he absorbed like a sponge. Through a series of relationship-building skills, he learned how to build rapport through powerful communication skills. We showed him how to manage relationships. Although brilliant and accomplished, he had been unaware of how his abrasive personality was affecting others and jeopardizing his success. Through coaching, processes, and feedback, he embraced the changes.

The once abrasive executive kept his position in the company and was later promoted to senior partnership. Client feedback: “We Call It the Jernudd save!”
